The lead package · Digital Frontiers

Three countries.
Three networks.
One unfinished connection.

Papua New Guinea, Guyana, and São Tomé and Príncipe show that landing a cable or lighting a backbone is only the beginning. The harder work is local: reach, affordability, power, accountability and resilience.

Every number is dated and linked to a primary source. Route diagrams are original Ewing Journal schematics, not copied cable maps. Planned interviews are labeled as planned.
