The ledger combines the completed 2024 and 2025 regular seasons with the 117-game 2026 snapshot through Aug. 8. Derived figures are labeled as Ewing Journal calculations.
Calculation notes: 112.1 miles converts 6,574 total bases × 90 feet. The 42.8-mile figure converts 628 home runs × a 360-foot trip around four 90-foot basepaths; it is not estimated batted-ball flight distance. The baseball-use range applies MLB clubhouse reporting of roughly 6–7 dozen balls per game to 441 regular-season games and should be read as an illustrative estimate, not a Dodgers inventory count.
The Dodgers’ Aug. 8 rate projects a 97-win regular season. October is modeled separately because postseason length depends on series results.

The three-peat chase is not only a collection of star performances. It is also an exercise in managing a roster through injuries, bullpen fatigue, rotation uncertainty and the expectations that arrive after consecutive championships. Roberts sits at the point where all of those pressures become decisions.
The Aug. 8 extra-inning win in Arizona ended a seven-game losing streak and moved Los Angeles to 70–47. A weekly dynasty journal should not hide turbulence. It should measure how a championship club responds when the pressure of a three-year run collides with the ordinary volatility of a baseball season.
